Vegetarian Dieting for Fat Loss

The main argument with eating vegetarian is usually that this type of eating lacks a sufficient amount of protein. Most vegetarian foods do not contain complete sources of protein all by themselves. Without these complete proteins, it is nearly impossible for your body to maintain and build muscle mass. Sounds like eating vegetarian is a lost cause, right? Wrong!
Combining certain types of vegetarian foods, such as black beans and brown rice provides a complete protein source and allows the body to maintain muscle over time. Also, you can get major amounts of protein by drinking protein shakes…even if you are vegan. There are many protein shake options out there for vegetarians and vegans including pea, rice, soy, hemp and almond.
Some other incredible healthy options for vegetarians are quinoa and beans with avocados; almond butter and jelly sandwiches; yellow peas; spinach; coconut milk ice cream; nuts and legumes.
